Spin

A pickleball doesn't take much spin, but a topspin dink or roll volley dips at the opponent's feet and a slice drop stays low, and mixing them draws pop-ups.

Think about this while you play

  • Topspin dink: brush up the back of the ball.
  • Slice drop: open face, short high-to-low glide.
  • Watch their paddle face to read the spin coming.
